LOTS to do!
Its not often we can have a ‘play’ creatively so for the Museum of Small Things show at Selfridges, ably assisted by Dropp, we were able to let our hair down so to speak.
I’ve been busy!!

When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride. - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Beginning Friday March 26th McFaulStudio and howies have curated a two-week event of art, talk and ride based above the howies store in Bristol. We have reached out to those who ride, those who allow us to ride…and those who want us to ride, bringing us all together in a carnival of bicycle. Those who design and those who draw, those who paint or shoot or sew, those who talk or make, those who fix and those who nurture are all involved as they all share a love of A Beautiful Machine.
Over 50 artists from around the Globe. 15 incredible speakers over 5 evening talks. 1 Bicycle treasure hunt, 1 rather special bicycle auction and 1 Critical Mass. Two weeks in Bristol. A lot of fun.
Let the good times roll!
Keep up with it all here and here

We’ve been pretty much below radar for quite some time now. The website hasn’t been updated. The blog was slow at best in its updates. We’ve been very busy!! We’ll make up for it now with a wealth of new stuff that we’ve been fortunate to be involved with - the art direction of a new Sky TV channel, the marketing and art direction of a very well known bicycle brand, a huge ad campaign for a mobile phone company, logo’s for this and that, murals and lots lots more.

Those of you out there who are touched by the Beautiful Machine in some way please get in touch. We’re looking for Illustrators, Designers, Film Makers, Frame Builders, Trail Builders, Couriers, Racers, Riders…Purveyors of all things bike. Not much time now so email John

We’ve just completed a full rebrand for Silence Tea culminating in a smooth as silk, zen-like website. You can visit the site here.
More of the branding when it all returns from the printers. Very nice!

We collaborated with blockinteractive to help design, brand & illustrate the new BeatBlocs website. It’s a platform for cutting-edge artists and bedroom producers to submit their own beats to a new online sample library. The BeatBlocs site has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response, keep an eye out for a number of articles in the music and design press over the coming weeks.
