Ollie and luke were at Glug - Brighton this past Friday night throwing up a tasty mural to the theme of ‘Crimes of Passion’. We decided to take a cheeky approach to the concept and once people realised there was a poor lad under the bountiful beauty it started to make more sense. A great night was had by all, and we got to see a bunch of new and old faces. Check out our Flickr page for some more photos of the night. I’ve been on about it for months and I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing about it. 6 months of designing and 2 years of thinking (on and off), but I’ve finally taken the leap and gone under the needle. More pics on our Flickr page soon.

It’s taken months 8 sittings and a high pain threshold but Joe is glad he did it… and so are we. It’s a real treat to know that someone is walking around inked for life with a McFaul Studio original.

We are in the process of drawing up a new section that will cover the inside of the Joe’s arm, making the tattoo a complete wrap. Watch this space for more photos in the coming months

Joe writes:

I was back with Sammy on Friday 13th and yes it was spooky!!! I learned a valuable lesson that day, Don’t drink the night before!! I knew this of course but had chosen to forget. Booze thins your blood and causes you to bleed like a stuffed Pig! You could smell the Guinness coming out!

It made for some great pictures though…

Poor Joe has just been under the needle for the 6th time. He told us that he wasn’t feeling so happy about going this time. More pain, more blood, all for the love of McFaul Studio artwork. That’s dedication.
