We collaborated with blockinteractive to help design, brand & illustrate the new BeatBlocs website. It’s a platform for cutting-edge artists and bedroom producers to submit their own beats to a new online sample library. The BeatBlocs site has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response, keep an eye out for a number of articles in the music and design press over the coming weeks.

Last friday night saw 50 of Bristol’s best known street artists take over the city’s oldest gallery, the Royal West Of England Academy. We went along to the launch party with our good mate Al Wardle from computer Arts. It’s now open to the public so if you have not been yet - get yourself down there, it’s inspirational !

Poor Joe has just been under the needle for the 6th time. He told us that he wasn’t feeling so happy about going this time. More pain, more blood, all for the love of McFaul Studio artwork. That’s dedication.

Toni Morrison once said “A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves - a special kind of double” and it is for that reason we decided to set up our new sister company, Dropp, to handle a special kind of work.

Dropp was founded to specifically handle and expand on the ever increasing digital projects that McFaul Studio has been building up over the last few years. Comprising of the dream team of James White, George Parker and our very own Ross Curzon-Butler, the formation of Dropp has been created to handle all the interactive, motion graphics and moving image work that was previously heralded under the McFaul Studio banner. Dropp is also set to handle the research and development of new technologies, providing even more scope for the sexiness of McFaul Studio to appear.
